Having been a founding subscriber to AOL under his parents, Chris is no stranger to the Internet and designing websites. In middle school he designed websites for his friends for a nominal fee and his love for all things web design quickly grew. Things aren’t much different now. Chris just recently graduated from Belmont University, where he obtained a degree in Music Business and met hearSAY co-founder Kevin Smith (not the movie director so don’t bother asking). Chris primarily handles the graphic design of our clients’ sites. He also has this crazy thing for wrangling Myspace into submission. Kevin is a nerd—just ask his friends. He’s got a pretty good handle on current music and design trends, but he also gets unnecessarily excited about the latest version of Ubuntu. See, you probably don’t even know what that is. It’s weird, I know. But he’s been doing this web thing for a little over a decade now, and that’s enough time to see some major shifts in the web development world. Do most clients get excited about validating code? We’re lucky if they even understand what it is. But Kev goes the extra mile because it’ll make clients’ pages that much more accessible to everyone, load faster, and much easier to change down the road. Besides all the nerd stuff, Kev likes listening critically to entire records, watching the History Channel, and reading books about the Presidents. Wait—still nerdy.
